Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment is a dark ride simulator using the same 4-seat KUKA robotic arm as Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Islands of Adventure. It opened May 22, 2025 and requires a minimum height of 48 inches (122 cm). Recent wait time data shows it averages just 20 minutes — the shortest line among all of Epic Universe's headliner attractions — and the 11am-to-noon window is usually one of the best times of day to ride it.
A few steps away is Curse of the Werewolf, a family spinning coaster based on The Wolf Man, with a minimum height of just 40 inches (102 cm) — perfect for slightly younger kids ready for their first coaster.
