If you're planning your first Disney cruise, the stateroom category you pick changes the whole onboard experience, and not just because of price. Disney Cruise Line splits its staterooms into four categories: Inside, Oceanview, Verandah and Concierge, available across all four ships in the fleet (Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Wish and Disney Treasure).

The most affordable option is the Standard Inside: 169 square feet, with a queen bed, a convertible sofa and a pull-down upper berth that sleeps up to 4. But its bathroom is just a regular shower-tub combo in a single room, no split design.

Here's the detail almost nobody researches before booking: the Deluxe Inside, just one step up, is 204 square feet and does include Disney's famous split bathroom, one compartment with a sink and toilet, and a separate one with a tub and shower. For families with young kids, that difference matters more than the extra square footage: two people can get ready at the same time without bumping into each other on port mornings.

As for pricing, on one analyzed 2026 sailing, double-occupancy fares started at: Inside from $3,314, Oceanview from $3,570, Verandah from $4,026 and Concierge from $8,194. And on the newest ships, Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, the Concierge level went even further with multi-level suites and even "funnel suites" built inside the ship's smokestack.

One more thing worth knowing: stateroom subtypes aren't identical across the fleet, so a "Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah" on the Disney Dream isn't the same layout as the equivalent category on the Disney Wish, so it always pays to compare deck plans ship by ship before booking.
