If you're cruising with Royal Caribbean around the Caribbean, chances are your itinerary includes a day at Perfect Day at CocoCay, the line's private island in the Bahamas. The good news: most of the experience is free. Getting onto the island costs nothing, the beaches (Chill Island and South Beach) come with free loungers and umbrellas, there are 5 restaurants included at no extra charge, and the island's centerpiece, Oasis Lagoon, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean at 800,000 gallons split across 3 coves, is also free to use.

Where you do need to budget separately is the premium experiences. Thrill Waterpark, the island's water park with 13 slides and the Caribbean's biggest wave pool, has its own admission pass: it includes Daredevil's Peak, North America's tallest waterslide at 135 feet (41 meters) of pure drop. That pass isn't a fixed price: Royal Caribbean uses dynamic, demand-based pricing, so the same pass can run $49 one day and $189 another, depending on your ship, sail date and how far out you book. Coco Beach Club, the adults-only area with private cabanas, works the same way: prices range from $89 to $304. There's also a 1,600-foot zip line across 3 segments that crosses the island in the air (48-inch height minimum, 75 to 275 lb weight range).
