Universal's Express Pass, Explained Without The Hype

Universal promises Express Pass cuts your wait in half -on VelociCoaster, from 90 to 45 minutes. But real results vary a lot: on average, riders spend about a third of the time they'd spend in the regular line. At Epic Universe there's only the single-use version -no Unlimited Express there, and the free Unlimited that comes with Universal's Premier hotels only covers Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. The ticket also changed this month: the 3-day, 3-park ticket including Epic Universe now starts at $119 a day, and a full park-to-park day runs $190 to $255.
