Every Royal Caribbean ship has the Solarium, an adults-only retreat with a pool, whirlpools, and loungers, no kids around. The minimum age went up from 16 to 18 back in 2023.
At Perfect Day at CocoCay, Hideaway Beach is reserved for guests 18 and up. Day passes run $48 to $52 per adult (up to $119 on peak dates), and private cabanas range from $899 to $2,699.
Did you know the onboard drinking age changes too? It's 21 if your cruise departs North America or the Caribbean (including CocoCay and Labadee), and 18 if it departs South America, Europe, Asia, or Australia.
If you're planning a couples' trip or a kid-free getaway, Royal Caribbean has more going on than you'd think, though, unlike Virgin Voyages, it doesn't run a single fully adults-only ship.
